Charles Henry Webb and Alice Cooper

When Charles Henry Webb was born on March 17, 1895, in Wigan, Lancashire, England, his father, Alfred Thomas Webb (1861-1937), was 34 and his mother, Emma Alice Dodd (1862-1932), was 33.

Charles Henry married Alice Cooper in October 1917 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. Alice’s parents are currently unknown.

They had at least one child (and likely three) during their marriage:

  • Iris May Webb (1918-?) married Albert Swarbrick (1909-?)

On the 1939 Register, the couple is living at 48 Ibbison Court in Blackpool. Charles is a hairdresser. Alice is at home. Iris is a biscuit maker.

Charles died in 1983 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, at the age of 88. The date of Alice’s death is currently unknown.
